Shinrin-yoku is an originally Japanese practice of 'forest bathing' bringing us back to nature. Back to where our species has evolved and where we feel good. Back to what is still written in our DNA. The Shinrin-yoku art designs are aiming to express exactly that, the unconditional love for all nature. The designs each put one nature being in the spotlights, emphasizing their beauty and connectedness with the rest of nature, expressed by webs of fractals and geometry patterns. We are nature, we are connected with nature and with one another, we are one whole web of inter-being.
The designs form various collections, e.g. the Forest Mystery Collection, the Trees Collection, the Yūgen Collection, the Cones Collection or the Intersects Collection. They are being hand-painted by one Forest Therapy guide in the Netherlands, with 50% of all profit being donated to Trees for All, a Dutch foundation planting trees in the Netherlands and other parts of the world. Made with love and respect for nature, and for you.
"Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty."
